The Weinsberg CaraHome 600DKG is a six-berth overcab coachbuilt based on the Fiat Ducato 130bhp in the popular rear bunk bed layout. The central dinette area has four travel seats and converts into a double bed and upfront, there are two berths in the bright overhead cab area. With ample kitchen facilities and large garage storage on top of all the expected facilities, the 600DKG offers everything a family could need in a motorhome at excellent value for money.

The 600DKG Fiat Ducato base comes with rear/front axle stabiliser and wide-track chassis with central locking for the driver’s cab and the usual ABS, ESP and power-steering included. Well suited to the UK road network, the DKG is shorter than the Dethcleffs Trend A5887 (6.5m), Rimor Seal 7 (6.7m) and over half a metre shorter than the Italian Roller Team Zefiro 675 which spans 6.99m.

Thick, 31mm walls with generous insulation, built in frost protection which auto-activates in cold temperatures to prevent the pipes from freezing along with a gas locker suitable for 2x 11kg gas bottles makes the CaraHome 600DKG suitable for year-round travel.

There is access to the large rear garage locker from both sides of the vehicle meaning loading and unloading is easy for the whole family and you don’t need to worry about where to park.

Living Area

The interior of the Weinsberg CaraHome 600DKG is full of natural and ambient light. Whilst its length is shorter than its competitors, it still feels spacious thanks to the wooden fixtures giving it a natural style with a pleasing ambience. The off-white walls and ceilings contrasted with the Oregon Ash cabinets and furniture instantly resembles quality and doesn’t connotate entry-level interior.

Quality is seen across the Weinsberg range right down to the fixtures and closures with reinforced drawers and soft-close doors on cupboards, meaning there are fewer rattles on your road trip versus competitors like Roller Team. Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is equipped with a large 110l fridge with separate freezer compartment, generous sink and 3-burner gas hob, perfect for cooking family meals. Bathroom

The bathroom has a mix of wooden and white plastic finishes with a Dometic cassette toilet and full shower cubicle with mirrored cabinet and roof vent with a fly screen. This stops the steam from lingering or escaping into the living area and provides nice natural light in the bathroom which can be lacking in similar models.

Sleeping

The 600DKG has spacious sleeping arrangements for the whole family. The rear transverse bunk beds are 2M in length offering ample space for the tallest members of the family. The bottom bunk bed is hinged and folds away to give you more room in the rear garage storage.

The overhead cab double bed is 2M x 1.4M with generous headroom and a nifty roof window with a blackout blind that helps you wake up to the sounds and sights of nature (if you so desire!)

What’s interesting is the ability to connect to the Trauma CP-Plus control panel through the intelligent Truma iNet system. The iNet system gives you complete control over the motorhome from a distance via a simple SMS message.
